On October 3, 2014, Virginia Rush held its first annual Rush vs.Cancer Event. That year, four of Virginia Rush's Elite teams armed themselves in as much pink gear as they could manage and battled it out on the soccer field in order to raise awareness and funds for a noble cause, the fight against cancer. We are continuing the tradition.

Let's "Paint the Plex Pink" on October 7, 2024 at 6 pm for Rush vs Cancer  

We will feature a 60 minute game played by our very own Rush Coaches, Red Cross Blood Drive, merchandise sales, DJ, photobooth and the ever popular Pie A Coach donation contest.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to the EVMS Leroy T. Canoles Jr. Research Center. All scheduled Rush training will be Cancelled and instead players and families are asked to report to the stadium to cheer on their favorite coaches.
