Advanced Player Placement Process

The Virginia Rush Soccer Club conducts player placements for all players wishing to participate in the Advanced League. Player Placement sessions will take place at the Hampton Roads Soccer Complex (HRSC). Players are required to register prior to player placements. All players who register and/or participate will be placed on a team. Current Advanced level players must attend.

Player Placements will consist of players participating in small-sided and full-sided games to evaluate their individual technical ability and team tactics. Players need to dress appropriately as one would for practice and bring water.

Onsite Player Placement Instructions

• All players must register online and pay the registration fee.
• Upon completion of registration, print 2 copies of the Certificate of Registration.
• Bring 2 copies of the Certificate of Registration and a copy of documented proof of birth date (i.e. Birth Certificate, passport, military ID) to the onsite Player Placement session, and report to the main sign-up pavilion to receive a player number.
• Players are to bring a soccer ball, water, and be appropriately dressed for practice.

*Important Date: Registrations on or after June 12, 2013 are not guaranteed special requests or placement on the previous year’s team.

Players not registered on-line must fill out two paper registration forms, provide a copy of documented proof of birth date (i.e. Birth Certificate, passport, military ID), and pay yearly fees at the check-in before their child receives a number and is allowed to participate. The check-in process will be smoother if registered and paid on-line.

Player Placement sessions will take place on June 10 & 11, 2013 at the Hampton Roads Soccer Complex. Please see the schedule below for your respective age group.
