Advanced General Information
The Virginia Rush Advanced program offers age groups U9 through U19 boys and girls. The Advanced program is offered to players who seek a level of play between recreational and competitive. Teams are formed through an open onsite player placement process to be held June 10 & 11, 2013 at the Hampton Roads Soccer Complex. Teams formed in June remain together for one year (fall and spring seasons). Players and teams can be added in the spring season.
The primary focus of the Advanced program is to offer age appropriate training. The Advanced program groups children according to the US Youth Soccer (USYS) age group structure. Players U9-U12, participate in "small-sided" games, which enables the players to have more active participation and time on the ball. Players U13-U19, participate in 11v11, which allows the older players to receive the most realistic view of the game. All players in the Advanced program that participate in training/practices will play at least 50% of each game.

Advanced Fee
The Advanced program is a one year commitment. The fee for the fall and spring seasons is $210.00. Players registering in the fall do not have to register again in the spring. New players registering in the spring season will pay $105.00 to cover the spring season fee. The Advanced uniform fee is not included in the registration fee.
The Advanced fees are for the year, Fall & Spring season. Players must be registered and paid in full to be placed in the Advanced Program.
Registration & Advanced Fee Deadlines: 2013-2014
- Early Registration ends June 9, 2013 - $210.00
- Late Registration begins June 10, 2013 - $220.00
- Registration Deadline - August 1, 2013
*Important Date: Registrations on or after June 12, 2013 are not guaranteed special requests or placement on the previous year’s team.
Advanced Uniform Requirements
- Adidas Uniform Package Cost: $65.00 (Includes – 2 Jersey’s, Shorts, Socks)
The uniform order form is available on the website (www.varush.com), and the uniform must be purchased through the Rush office. The Rush is now sponsored by Adidas beginning fall 2013. All players will be required to purchase new uniforms for the 2013-2014 year.

2013/2014 Age Group Roster Sizes
The roster sizes have been changed for the Fall 2013 / Spring 2014 seasons. The main focus for the change was to increase player development. The policy of the Advanced Program is for the players to play 50% of each game.
U9/U10: 11 Players Max (Play 7v7, 4 Subs)
U11/U12: 12 Players Max (Play 8v8, 4 Subs)
U13-U18: 18 Players Max (Play 11v11, 7 Subs)
